What you'll study

This major blends core training in analytic and historical philosophy with specialised study of Chinese intellectual traditions. You will study primary texts and contemporary scholarship on Confucianism, Daoism (Taoism), Chinese Buddhist thought, and modern Chinese philosophy, alongside courses in hermeneutics, ethics, metaphysics and epistemology.
