This degree combines core computing theory with hands‑on software development and systems work. Early modules typically introduce programming, algorithms and data structures, discrete mathematics and foundations of computer systems. As you progress you study software engineering, databases, operating systems, computer networks and web technologies alongside options in areas such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, human–computer interaction, cybersecurity and mobile or cloud development.
