What you'll study

The programme builds a foundation in microeconomics and macroeconomics and develops applied quantitative skills used to analyse business problems. In early years you study core economic theory, mathematics and statistics for economists, and introductory business subjects such as organisational behaviour and marketing. As you progress you take modules in econometrics and data analysis, business finance and strategy, and applied fields such as labour economics, international trade or behavioural economics.

Typical module themes include:

Entry requirements

Entry requirements vary by year and applicant background. Typical UK entry offers are in the range of mid to high UCAS tariff, with A-levels and equivalent qualifications accepted. Applicants should have a good standard of numeracy — GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C (or equivalent) is usually required, and A-level Mathematics is recommended if available.
