What you'll study

The programme combines foundational courses in accounting and economics with supporting subjects in finance, quantitative methods and business law. In early stages you study introductory modules such as Financial Accounting, Introduction to Microeconomics, Business Mathematics and Statistics, and Principles of Management. Intermediate and advanced modules typically include Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Taxation, Auditing, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and Applied Economic Policy.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised secondary school leaving qualification with passes in subjects appropriate to the field. Applicants presenting international qualifications must meet the University of Malta's equivalency standards. All applicants whose prior instruction was not in English are required to demonstrate competence in English through an approved test or prior qualifications taught in English.
