What you ll study
The programme balances modern academic knowledge with applied business skills. It aims to prepare graduates to manage projects, make strategic decisions in changing contexts, and develop entrepreneurial and creative problem-solving. The study plan comprises 49 courses amounting to 135 credit hours; specific course listings and a detailed curriculum are provided in the programme brochure and study plan.
Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a secondary school certificate certified by the Kingdom of Bahrain Ministry of Education or an equivalent with a minimum grade of 60% (or equivalent). Candidates with grades below 60% may be admitted if they fall into the universitys talented category (e.g. internationally active athletes, entrepreneurs, inventors, artists, authors) or have at least one year of relevant work experience after secondary school. Transfer applicants follow the universitys bachelor degree award regulations. Students from non-scientific secondary tracks must complete department-specified remedial courses. The University Council may admit applicants below 60% subject to limits: such admissions must not exceed 5% of total entrants.
All admitted students take a mandatory English placement test. Students scoring 040 must take the English remedial course ENG 099. Students scoring IELTS 5.0 or above, or TOEFL 450 or above, are exempted from ENG 099.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)
The published fees show a per-credit rate of 92.7 BD. Estimated fees listed for each semester are 1,390.5 BD, giving an estimated annual total of 2,781 BD based on the standard study plan; summer term registration is optional and charged at the same per-credit rate with a maximum of 9 credits. Partial academic excellence scholarships are offered for the first semester only: 30% for high school averages 95100% and 15% for averages 9094.9%. The university notes fees may vary by registered course load and are payable in three instalments per semester.
