What you'll study

Instruction includes face‑to‑face teaching, supervised group work and independent study such as literature work and assignments. The study structure is arranged so a student can complete the degree in 3.5 years depending on course availability and placement opportunities; with good planning some students may accelerate their progress. Practical training (harjoittelu) opportunities form part of the study pathway.

Entry requirements

Eligibility for the degree follows Finnish legislation for universities of applied sciences. Acceptable prior qualifications include Finnish upper secondary school or matriculation, IB, EB, Reifeprüfung/DIA, a Finnish vocational qualification (various sizes), opisto‑level or higher vocational qualifications, professional qualifications or a foreign qualification that provides access to higher education in the awarding country. The required prior education must be completed by the end of the supplementary application period. Applicants must also demonstrate the required English language proficiency through previous studies or an approved test in line with the spring joint application requirement; language proficiency is checked before student selection. Health and functional capacity requirements apply for the training.
