Programme overview

This hybrid program combines online lectures with on-campus lab sessions and is offered at the York, PA campus. Students can complete the Diploma in as few as 10 months. What you'll study

• Fundamentals of residential, commercial and industrial electrical technology
• Reading electrical blueprints and interpreting plans
• Wiring and installation of junction boxes, outlet boxes and lighting
• Installation, splicing and preparation of various cable types and testing signal efficiencies
• Training in National Electrical Code standards, proper tool use and care
• Construction-site safety and OSHA requirements; opportunity to receive 10-hour OSHA certification (first test fee included)
