What you'll study

Students combine applied performance training with coursework in music pedagogy and practical teaching. The program includes hands-on teaching experiences in local classrooms, opportunities to design free electives and interdisciplinary study, and encouragement to add secondary majors, minors, or concentrations. Semester-length study-abroad options are available at partner universities in Austria, China, and England. The school is also designated an All-Steinway School.
