Suited to learners seeking flexible, faith-based training that can be completed online and applied toward associate or bachelor’s degree credit.

What you'll study

The core curriculum covers religion, personal witness and spirituality, cultural study and the foundations of mission. Required courses listed by the programme are:

  • RELG 350 - World Religions
  • RELP 240 - Personal Witnessing
  • RELT 250 - Personal Spirituality and Faith
  • ANTH 200 - Cultural Anthropology
  • RELG 225 - Foundations of Missions

Students also choose three elective credits from specified options such as BSAD 365 or 450, EDTE 165 or 175, ENGL 465, FDNT 469, RELP 350, or an intermediate language (for example SPAN 275). A cross-cultural mission trip or volunteer service is required as part of the program.

Entry requirements

Applicants must submit an official high school transcript with a minimum 2.5 GPA or a College-Ready GED certificate with no section score below 450. Transcripts from all previously attended universities are required. If the applicant's first language is not English and they have less than four years of high school in English, an English proficiency test score is required.

Career prospects

Graduates should be better prepared for international or cross-cultural Christian service roles, missions work, volunteer placements and related service positions. Credits may also help students transition into further undergraduate study toward associate or bachelor’s degrees.
