Program requirements include 180 quarter credits in total (minimum 60 upper-division), at least 40 credits in the Education concentration, seven liberal studies courses, a senior capstone project, and an internship or other experiential learning. Sample community-based learning includes arts programs in local schools; example synthesis projects include peer mentoring programs, college course syllabi, or creative portfolios.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be degree-completion candidates who have already earned at least 36 quarter (24 semester) credits. Antioch will accept transfer credit up to 120 quarter credits (80 semester) of lower-division work, and up to 135 quarter credits with at least 15 upper-division. A minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter credits must be completed with Antioch University. Apply online, submit official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended, and provide a short essay (2–3 pages, ~500 words) explaining why you want to finish your bachelor’s at Antioch University Seattle. International applicants have additional requirements and international transcripts need evaluation. Application deadlines are quarterly (e.g., March 15 for Spring, June 15 for Summer, September 15 for Fall, December 15 for Winter) with start dates at the end of those months/quarter starts; late applications may be considered if space is available.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Most students finance their Antioch studies through financial aid (federal, state, public and private options, including loans, scholarships and grants); the campus offers advising on aid. Published cost information notes a tuition rate per quarter credit and additional potential fees. Students may transfer substantial prior credits and earn up to 45 quarter credits for demonstrated prior learning, which can reduce remaining tuition costs and time to degree.
