What you'll study

The major develops knowledge and skills across clinical, developmental and global psychology and includes practice in client skills, case and referral management, and addressing psychological distress. Student learning goals align with APA recommendations and include scientific reasoning, research methods, effective written and oral communication, ethical and socially responsible behavior, and critical reflection.

  • Concentration requirement: minimum of 54 quarter credits in the chosen concentration.
  • Breadth/General Education and Core Courses are completed within the general studies credit requirement.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have completed at least 24 semester (36 quarter) credits to be eligible for undergraduate admission. Students need 180–200 quarter credits to graduate. A minimum of 120 quarter credits must be completed in general studies (60–66%), and at least 30 semester (45 quarter) credits must be completed at Antioch University. Antioch accepts up to 135 quarter (90 semester) transfer credits overall and a maximum of 120 quarter/80 semester lower-division transfer credits; up to 45 university quarter credits may be awarded for demonstrated prior learning. The undergraduate application requires official transcripts (unofficial accepted to start review), an admissions essay following provided guidelines, and submission of applicable fees or a fee waiver request.
