What you'll study

The degree is structured as 130 credits composed of a minimum of 40 general education credits plus 60 discipline credits in Multimedia Design earned at Bircham through reports, projects and a thesis; additional subjects may complete the total. Textbooks corresponding to each course are provided as part of the fee; reports are written to demonstrate progressive achievement aligned with EQF-level learning outcomes (specialised knowledge, applying knowledge to case studies and problem-solving). Students may select additional courses from the Faculty of Arts & Humanities with board approval.

Entry requirements

Admission is open to adults over 23. A minimum of 30% of the program credits must be transferred from prior education and/or validated from professional experience to gain admission. Up to 20% of the total credits can be credited from professional and life experience. General education minimum requirements are 40 credits; a minimum transfer of 40 credits from previous education may be used to fulfil this portion.

Career prospects

The curriculum prepares graduates to develop a profession in multimedia and graphic design fields, including roles tied to digital and print design, advertising, illustration, multimedia communications and digital production. Practical reports and projects are used to show the application of theory to real-world design problems.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Fees cover program study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation, diploma and transcript. Cost information given by the provider: 70 Euros (90 US$) per BIU earned undergraduate credit and 20 Euros (25 US$) per transferred credit; total tuition ranges noted from a minimum of 3,510 Euros (4,420 US$) to a maximum of 6,800 Euros (8,700 US$). Payment plans are available on request for up to 36 monthly installments. Bircham recognizes transfer credits and may validate professional experience toward credit requirements.
