What you'll study

• Year 1: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry for EMT; Introduction to EMS & ambulance operations; Communication & documentation; Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Year 2: Pharmacology for emergencies; Pathology & Microbiology for EMT; Instruments & equipment; Community medicine; Psychology; simulation and clinical postings.
• Year 3: Patient assessment; medical emergencies (respiratory, cardiac, neurological, gastrointestinal/urogenital); trauma emergencies (head, thorax, abdomen); radiology basics; and soft skills.
• Year 4: Internship and field postings in ER, ICU and EMS (ground/air) with support for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
