A fully online graduate certificate that teaches practical AI adoption, governance and ethics for professionals. Suited to practitioners who want either hands-on (no-code optional) routes to build or oversee AI solutions and to those planning to apply credits toward a related master’s degree.
The curriculum focuses on building and operationalizing AI solutions while addressing governance and ethics. Learners choose one of two tracks: the Creator track for hands-on development of AI solutions, or the User track, a no-code option oriented to aligning AI with business needs. Learning outcomes include designing, building and applying AI solutions; developing organizational AI governance strategies; and evaluating ethical considerations in AI deployment.
Applicants must hold a B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college or university and have a cumulative GPA of 2.8. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the program offers six start dates per year. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
Graduates are prepared to lead or support AI initiatives within organizations, either by creating technical solutions (Creator track) or by directing adoption and integration without coding (User track). The certificate is also positioned for those who plan to continue into related master’s-level study in applied data analytics or computing fields.
Tuition is listed at $638 per credit for the 2026–27 academic year; additional fees and course-material costs may apply and total cost depends on transfer credits and individual plans. The program promotes a Study Buddy Scholarship that awards $1,000 when you and a friend (or group) enroll. For admissions, financing and accommodation needs contact the admissions office or the listed admissions counselor: Joseph Janchar, 218-625-4974, jjanchar@css.edu.
