An undergraduate program combining media theory, research and hands-on production for students who want to communicate strategically across industries. Suited to learners interested in audiovisual storytelling, digital media production, and applied communication in settings such as healthcare, business, education, or journalism.
Study areas named in the program include intercultural communication, research and theory, media literacy, film studies and multimedia production. Students produce written and creative work such as audiovisual projects, podcasts, books, photography and media design while learning production workflows for media, entertainment and sports contexts.

Graduates enter a wide range of fields where communication skills are valued. Alumni work as journalists, educators, corporate trainers, lawyers, film and television producers, publishers and news directors; other reported outcomes include careers in advocacy, photography, sales and filmmaking.
All new first-year applicants are awarded either the Benedictine Scholarship or the Access Award upon admission. The college reports that 100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of scholarship; the stated average for scholarships, grants and/or loans is $31,841.
