What you'll study

The curriculum is interdisciplinary and holistic, centered on social justice perspectives applied to environmental and cultural questions. Students select one concentration beyond the program core from the following options:

• Peace, advocacy, and justice
• Environmental studies
• Global public health
• Sustainable management

Experiential learning is integral: students work with regional and global organizations, pursue internships, and may study abroad. Faculty maintain strong connections with local and international partners to help design these placements.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

All new first-year applicants receive either the Benedictine Scholarship or the Access Award upon admission. The college reports that 100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of scholarship, and the average combined amount for scholarships, grants, and/or loans is $31,841.
