Programme overview

This Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education trains students in evidence-based instructional approaches for diverse elementary learners. The program stresses experiential learning: students begin accruing fieldwork experience in elementary classrooms from their first semester and learn from full-time faculty with significant K–12 backgrounds. The program positions graduates to transition into St. Scholastica graduate pathways such as Special Education, a Master of Education, or a Doctor of Educational Leadership.

All new first-year applicants to the College receive either the Benedictine Scholarship or the Access Award upon admission. The College reports that 100% of traditional incoming undergraduates receive some type of scholarship; the published average for scholarships, grants, and/or loans is $31,841.
