An interdisciplinary BA that blends humanities and healthcare to explore the human side of illness, healing and wellbeing. Suited to students who want to bring empathy, ethical awareness and cultural insight to clinical practice, policy, or allied health studies.

What you'll study

The curriculum centers on five core courses: Health Humanities Foundations; Health, Happiness, and Human Well-Being; Trauma and Recovery: Medicine and Literature; Healthcare Across Cultures; and the Health Humanities Capstone Seminar. Majors also take four additional Health Humanities courses to broaden their understanding of the human condition in medical contexts.

Career prospects
