Admission to the DeVoe Division of Business is required before taking 300–400 level division courses (with a limited exception for some 300-level accounting classes). To apply for admission to the division students must:
Students must file an Application for Admission to the Division; the faculty will approve applications that meet the criteria. The division reserves the right to deny admission for failure to meet behavioral expectations. Transfer students may petition for admission if they satisfy substantially all criteria. To remain in the division, students must maintain the 2.5 overall and division GPAs and minimum course grades; failure may require repeating courses or withdrawal from the division. Transfer-credit rules require approval by the division; minimum residency in the DeVoe Division of Business applies (at least 18 division credit hours for BA majors).
Graduates are prepared for a range of entry- to mid-level roles across sectors. The program lists potential careers such as agents and business managers, business operations specialists, education administrators and energy brokers, among others.
