What you'll study

The Area Studies degree is built around intensive study of one or more world regions (for example Latin America, East Asia, Europe, or the Middle East) and integrates language learning with disciplinary approaches from history, political science, economics, anthropology and cultural studies. You will complete core modules that introduce theories and methods in area studies and research design, plus advanced seminars focused on your chosen region.
