Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a good UK undergraduate degree (typically a 2:1 or equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics or a closely related discipline. Applicants with a lower class degree but substantial relevant industrial experience, strong programming background and demonstrable technical skills may be considered.

Applicants without a formal computing degree may be admitted on the strength of prior study or professional experience but may be asked to demonstrate competence in core areas such as programming, data structures and discrete mathematics, and may be required to take bridging material.
