What you'll study

Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree with good academic standing or an honours degree. Admission commonly requires evidence of academic achievement at postgraduate level (for example a B+ average or equivalent across final-year undergraduate study), a research proposal or project outline for thesis-based candidates, and referee reports. Applicants with substantial professional experience in a related field may apply for admission on a case-by-case basis.

For applicants whose first language is not English, Massey requires recognised English language proficiency (for example IELTS/TOEFL or other approved tests) at postgraduate entry levels. Specific departments may also request a writing sample, portfolio or interview for practice-based specialisms.
