This programme combines theoretical and applied study of human rights. Structure

The diploma is normally completed over one year full-time, with part-time study options available to suit working professionals. Teaching is delivered through a mix of lectures, seminars, workshops, case studies and supervised applied research or placement work.

Entry requirements

Applicants are usually expected to hold a recognised bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as law, social sciences, health, education, or development studies, with a solid academic record. Applicants with substantial relevant professional experience in human rights, community work or policy may also be considered. International applicants will need to meet the university's English language requirements.
