What you'll study

This programme provides a broad grounding in the core disciplines of real estate, combining valuation, investment, development and management with modules on law, economics and construction technology. You will study subjects such as property valuation and appraisal, real estate finance and investment, planning and development, property law and professional practice, building construction and sustainability, market research and feasibility studies, and asset and property management.

Teaching normally mixes lectures, seminars, case studies and project work, and there is a strong emphasis on practical skills: development appraisals, valuation reports, feasibility modelling, negotiation exercises and client-facing presentations. You will also complete a substantial research or consultancy project in your final year that draws together technical analysis and industry-relevant recommendations.
