What you'll study

This three-year programme provides core training in the main areas of mathematics alongside complementary subjects in computing and applied methods. In the first year you establish fundamentals such as calculus, linear algebra, introductory mathematical analysis and basic discrete mathematics. In later years you study more advanced analysis, abstract algebra, differential equations, real and complex analysis, geometry and topology.

Entry requirements

Admission is aimed at students with a secondary school leaving qualification demonstrating a sound background in mathematics. Applicants are expected to have competent algebra, calculus and problem-solving skills from secondary education.

• International applicants: a recognised secondary qualification equivalent to the Italian system and compliance with the university's enrolment rules for international students
