What you'll study

Coursework spans core ecological topics and applied areas. Students encounter evolution, wildlife ecology, conservation biology and aquatic ecosystems, supported by hands-on experiences in fieldwork and laboratory research. Regional research opportunities include aquatic ecology, fisheries biology, forest and fire ecology, and invasive species ecology.

Entry requirements

Students follow an accelerated degree plan: after completing undergraduate prescribed coursework, General Education and electives they become eligible for Bachelor’s degree conferral. Typically in the fall of junior year students must apply to continue into the graduate portion of the accelerated program.
