What you'll study

The curriculum combines two required courses and two electives (students choose two).

• Required (6 credits): MBA 503 Operations Management (3 credits); MBA 567 Multinational Management (3 credits).
• Electives (choose 2 — 6 credits): MBA 561 Emerging Financial Markets (3 credits); MBA 562 Global Finance (3 credits); MBA 568 International Business Study Tour (3 credits).

The program uses Blackboard as its learning-management system for course materials, assignments and communication.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree. Most graduate business certificate courses have prerequisites. The certificate aligns with Ashland’s graduate business admissions processes.

Each course is billed at $2,595 (equivalently $865 per credit hour); financing options are available through the Financial Aid Office. The program accepts credit for prior learning—industry-recognized credentials can yield up to 9 credits toward a graduate business degree—helping reduce time and cost.
