What you'll study

The certificate comprises four 3-credit graduate courses:

• MBA 545 Business Intelligence & Data Analytics – 3 credits (no prerequisite)
• MBA 546 Business Analytics I – 3 credits (no prerequisite)
• MBA 548 Analytics Modeling for Decision-Making – 3 credits (prerequisite: MBA 546)

Instruction is delivered via the Blackboard learning management system, which provides course videos, syllabi, assignments and communication tools. The program highlights business analytics and intelligence techniques for improving organizational performance.

Entry requirements

Admission requires an undergraduate degree. Most graduate business certificates include course prerequisites; specifically, MBA 548 requires completion of MBA 546. The program notes options for credit for prior learning that can provide up to 9 credits toward a graduate business degree for previously earned, industry-recognized credentials.
