What you'll study

The curriculum covers contemporary computing topics and practical software toolchains. Subject areas listed by the programme include machine learning, deep learning, data communications, network security, Oracle, artificial intelligence and software engineering. Students gain hands-on experience with development and analytics software such as .Net 2019 (C#, ASP.net, VB.net), Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Dreamweaver, Animate, Photoshop and others), Java, C++, Python and R.

Entry requirements

To progress from the bachelor’s into the MS portion students must successfully complete the bachelor’s degree and hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Dual-degree applicants must enrol initially as eligible undergraduate majors; once admitted to the dual programme they receive advising and faculty support to remain on track for graduate matriculation.

Career prospects

The programme points to strong labour demand for computing roles: employment of computer science positions is projected to grow 23% through 2033 (BLS). The programme links technical training to roles such as network architects and information security analysts and highlights a 2023 median annual wage for computer and IT occupations of $104,420 (BLS). Internships with industry partners are encouraged to build workplace experience prior to graduation.
