Suited to students aiming for professional accounting accreditation and roles such as accountant, auditor or financial analyst, it emphasises practical assessment, small-class teaching and pathways to CPA/CA/ICMA credentials.
The program comprises 16 core units and 8 electives. Units are taught via a one-hour lecture plus a two-hour tutorial per unit and use industry-relevant assessments such as case studies and group projects.
Academic entry requires completion of an Australian Year 12, a Certificate IV or equivalent, or an approved tertiary preparation or foundation program. English-language eligibility can be met by prior studies in English (e.g. Australian Year 12 or diploma), satisfactory recent study at an Australian institution, or IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5.
