Programme overview

The Pre-Health Program at Wagner College is an advisory, co‑directed programme that supports undergraduates pursuing careers in the health sciences. It is run by the Pre–Professional Health Committee and co‑chairs Dr. Racquel DeCicco (Physical Sciences) and Dr. Christopher Marra (Biological Sciences). The committee advises students on course and programme requirements, application procedures, and provides qualified students with committee letters.

What you'll study

The programme is advisory rather than a fixed course list; its emphasis is on preparation for professional schools. Information and guidance focus primarily on pre‑medical, pre‑veterinary and pre‑dental pathways, and much of the same guidance applies to podiatry, chiropractic, occupational therapy, optometry, physical therapy and pharmacy. Students are encouraged to undertake the required undergraduate coursework and extracurricular experiences that professional schools expect.
