What you'll study

The curriculum weaves sustainability and social impact through all courses and offers focused pathways through concentrations. Students may choose concentrations in Leadership and Teams, Nonprofit Leadership, or create a Self-Designed concentration (with faculty approval and support). Early in the program students can earn micro-credentials—with digital badges—for specific foundational courses including:

• Human Resources Management
• Marketing Management & Analytics
• Principles of Triple Bottom Line and Sustainability
• Leading High-Performing Teams

After completing half of the program coursework students receive a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business Leadership. The program structure is ten 7-week courses with one-week breaks between sessions; students typically take one course at a time and may finish in 20 months, or with advisor approval take two courses per session to finish in as few as 12 months.

Entry requirements

The program is delivered online and expects entrants to have basic technological skills, compatible computer hardware and an operating system, and internet connectivity. Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Antioch advertises the President’s Merit Scholarship for new master’s students: awards of $6,000 are distributed equally over the first two academic years, with eligibility tied to prior academic performance (minimum 3.40 GPA) and work/life experience. Recipients must remain enrolled full-time and complete each registered course to retain the award.
