Programme overview

This industry-focused honours degree builds knowledge of accounting and finance across national and international markets and includes an optional placement year to apply taught skills in the workplace. The curriculum is shaped by an industry advisory board, embeds use of the Bloomberg suite for live market data, and includes live business briefs and opportunities to co-design events to develop networking and project-management skills. A business and law foundation year is available for applicants without the required qualifications or experience.

What you'll study

Students develop both general and specialist knowledge to analyse contemporary accountancy and finance problems. The course integrates real-time financial data through the Bloomberg suite and uses live briefs from employers to apply theory in practical contexts. Teaching is informed and reviewed by industry experts via the Business Advisory Board and includes guest lectures from firms such as PwC. The programme is accredited by professional bodies, offering potential module exemptions for ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, IFA and AIA.
