What you'll study

The curriculum builds a solid engineering foundation in mathematics, mechanics, materials and manufacturing, thermodynamics, electrical basics, informatics and measurement technology, then moves into applied mechanical topics and electives.

  • Semester 1 (24 SWS, 30 CrP): Mathematik 1; Technische Mechanik 1; Material- und Fertigungstechnologie 1; Konstruktionslehre/CAD; Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik; Naturwissenschaften für Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure.
  • Semester 2 (24 SWS, 30 CrP): Mathematik 2; Technische Mechanik 2; Material- und Fertigungstechnologie 2; Technische Thermodynamik; Methoden des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens; Informatik für Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieurinnen.
  • Semester 3 (24 SWS, 30 CrP): Mathematik 3; Technische Mechanik 3; Maschinenelemente 1 und 2; Wirtschaftswissen für Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure; Grundlagen der Mess- und Sensortechnik.
  • Semesters 4–6 (72 SWS, 90 CrP): Vertiefungen wie Fluidmechanik, Regelungstechnik, Maschinendynamik, Maschinenelemente 3; 3 frei wählbare Module; 10 Module aus dem Wahlpflichtkatalog; Projektarbeit für Maschinenbau.
  • Semester 7 (8 SWS, 30 CrP): Berufspraktische Phase (BPP) mit Begleitstudien, Bachelorarbeit und Bachelor-Kolloquium.
