What you'll study

The programme covers core project management knowledge and skills alongside elective topics that reflect contemporary industry challenges. You will study modules on project planning and control, risk and quality management, procurement and contract management, stakeholder engagement and leadership. Quantitative methods for project decision-making, project finance and commercial management, and project governance are central components.

Teaching typically combines lectures, workshops, case studies and group-based project work. A major individual project or dissertation gives you the opportunity to apply methods to a real or simulated organisational problem; optionally this can be practice-based in collaboration with an employer. Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a good honours degree (or equivalent) in any discipline. Candidates with substantial relevant professional experience in project-related roles may be considered if they cannot meet the formal academic requirement. International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency in line with university regulations.

Typical application materials include an academic transcript, a personal statement describing your motivation and experience in project work, and one or two references. Relevant professional qualifications or employer support can strengthen an application.
