What you'll study

This multi-disciplinary degree combines theory and practice to build knowledge in case management, counselling and community development. Entry requirements

Applicants are expected to hold an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or recognised equivalent. Southern Cross University also considers applicants through alternative pathways, including vocational qualifications, recognised prior learning and mature‑age entry. International applicants must meet the university's English language requirements.

Because the degree prepares students for work with vulnerable people, entry usually requires the ability to obtain clearances such as a national police check and any relevant state working with children screening where placement occurs. Some units may require vaccination checks or other health-related requirements for placement providers.
