What you'll study

Instruction emphasises three focused courses that together address: theological grounding for women’s ministry, administrative challenges ministry leaders face, and how to design and implement sustainable ministry initiatives. Topics taught include creating and managing budgets, supervising staff performance and well‑being, partnering with local and national organisations, and developing organizational vision. The program also requires an internship for hands‑on ministry practice.

Entry requirements

No previous degree is required. Applicants must submit official high school or GED transcripts; transfer students must provide official transcripts from prior colleges. Anderson University operates rolling admissions, but students are encouraged to apply by December 1 for best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1 to begin in the fall semester.

Career prospects

Graduates are prepared to serve in roles ministering to women in church and related settings. Typical positions include women’s ministry director, women’s aftercare manager, community outreach coordinator, or missionary. Graduates wishing further study can pursue degrees such as the Master of Divinity, Master of Ministry, or master’s programs in counseling or human resources.
