What you'll study

Entry requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an institution recognised by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
• Undergraduate study should be in the same specialisation or a qualifying discipline; otherwise remedial courses may be required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of not less than 'Good' or equivalent.
• Pass an interview by the academic department and any departmentally required tests.
• Submit two recommendation letters (preferably including one from an academic staff member of the graduating university).
• If GPA is below 'Good', the application is referred to the Appeals Committee chaired by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development.
• Pass the university English placement test or provide TOEFL (or equivalent) with a score of at least 450; otherwise a remedial English course must be completed in the first year.
• Transfer students accepted in accordance with the Graduate Studies Regulations.
