What you'll study

The study plan is built around 36 credit hours delivered as 9 courses plus a thesis or 10 courses plus an applied project. Course content balances foundations of business analytics, applied analytical techniques, technology for analytics, and research or project work to demonstrate applied competence.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an institution recognised by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ministry of Education. The undergraduate degree should be in the same or a closely related field; otherwise the department will require remedial courses. A minimum cumulative GPA of "Good" (or equivalent) is required; applicants with lower GPAs may be admitted conditionally with remedial coursework. Candidates must pass the university English placement test or provide a TOEFL score of 500 (or equivalent); otherwise an English remedial course is required in the first year. Applicants also undergo an interview by a departmental committee. Transfer admissions follow the Graduate Studies Bylaw.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

Tuition is structured around the 36 credit hours. The published per‑credit fee is 144.2 BD; estimated fees per semester are 1,297.8 BD and the annual total shown is 2,595.6 BD. A semester registration fee (250 BD) applies. Partial scholarships are noted for new applicants (10% for the first semester only) and a special 20% scholarship is available to Applied Science University graduates in their first academic year. Fees may vary with registered course load and do not include costs such as re‑registration for failed courses, remedial course fees, or textbooks. Summer term registration is optional; per‑credit fee for summer is the same and a different registration fee applies.
