The minimum academic threshold is a cumulative GPA of no less than 'Good' or its equivalent; cases below this may be considered by an appeals committee. Applicants must pass an interview by the academic department committee and pass the university English placement test or provide a TOEFL (or equivalent) score of at least 450; otherwise a remedial English course determined by the college must be completed in the first year.
