Program learning outcomes cover talent acquisition and retention planning; performance and employee development program design; analysis of HR processes in unionized and non-unionized settings; total reward strategy development; Occupational Health and Safety policy creation and evaluation; assessment of ethical and legal implications in organizational decision-making; quantitative and qualitative data analysis for human-capital decisions; and designing human-capital solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Entry requirements

Applicants must hold an Ontario College diploma in Human Resources - Business with a minimum average of 60% or a Durham College diploma in Human Resources – Business – Transfer to Ontario Tech University Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) with a minimum average of 60%. Students who do not meet these criteria are directed to the program’s direct-entry (semester 1) page.
