What you'll study

Core learning areas include enterprise-level software and architectures, project management, systems analysis and design, databases, operating systems, web applications, information security, data analysis and business fundamentals. The program also covers emerging business technologies such as artificial intelligence, agent technologies and mobile computing. Students entering the degree after completing an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming or Computer Engineering Technology – Computing Science receive credit for 16 courses and start at Level 05, shortening time to completion to two years.

• Enterprise Architecture (CST3110) — strategic role of enterprise system architects and collaboration across the organization (42 hours)
• Project Management for IT (CST3111) — product development and implementation project management in IT (42 hours)
• Operations and Supply Chain Management (ESC4300) — operations principles for efficient processes and resource utilisation (42 hours)
• Cooperative Education and Job Readiness (GEP1001) — preparatory activities for professional job search and workplace success (21 hours)
• Business Fundamentals (MGT4102) — foundational skills addressing challenges in the global economy (42 hours)

Entry requirements

The program is offered as a full‑time, four‑year honours degree. Applicants holding the Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming or Computer Engineering Technology – Computing Science receive block credit for 16 courses and enter directly at Level 05, reducing completion time to two years.
