Entry requirements

Normal entry requires five Ordinary Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, one Science subject and one local language, plus at least two A level passes in Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry or Physics. Special entry accepts a diploma in a health-related field that includes Anatomy and Physiology as core courses together with five Ordinary Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and one Science subject. Admissions are also subject to the University and Faculty General Academic Regulations.

Career prospects

Graduates are eligible for professional registration and licensure with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe and can pursue roles in clinical nursing, community health, supervisory and managerial positions, nursing education and health innovation or entrepreneurship. The degree also serves as a foundation for postgraduate study and specialised nursing training.
