Entry requirements

Applicants are usually expected to hold a good UK undergraduate degree (typically a 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as biomedical science, biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology or a related chemical or life sciences discipline. Candidates with a lower-class degree combined with substantial and relevant industrial or research experience may also be considered.

For applicants whose first language is not English, the university requires evidence of proficiency in English. Typical acceptable qualifications include recognised tests such as IELTS or TOEFL at the level set by the university for postgraduate study.
