Applicants are normally expected to hold a recognised secondary school qualification such as the UAE Secondary School Certificate, International Baccalaureate diploma or GCE A-levels (or an equivalent qualification from an international credentialing body). Admission requires submission of a design portfolio demonstrating creative work and drawing ability; shortlisted applicants may be invited to an interview or design exercise.
