What you'll study

The programme blends core business topics with computing and information systems. You will study modules that cover systems analysis and design, database systems, programming fundamentals, networks and operating systems, information security, and web and e‑commerce technologies. Business-focused modules typically include management principles, accounting and finance for managers, organisational behaviour and business law so you understand the environment in which information systems operate.

Progressive modules emphasise applied skills: IT project management, enterprise systems (ERP), business intelligence and data analytics, human–computer interaction, and systems integration. The curriculum also normally requires a capstone project or senior design project where you plan, develop and present a practical information system for a real or simulated organisation, and an internship or practicum to gain workplace experience.

Entry requirements

Admission to the bachelor degree normally requires a secondary school completion certificate from the relevant national system (or an equivalent), with study in a scientific or technical stream typically preferred. Applicants must meet Qassim University’s general admission standards, which include successful completion of the university entrance procedures and any required placement or aptitude testing.
