A three-year undergraduate degree focused on competitive gaming, combining industry awareness with practical skills in livestreaming, event delivery, digital media and marketing. Suited to students who want hands-on experience building esports events, content and brands and who aim for operational, production or marketing roles within esports, gaming or digital media.

What you'll study

The course is delivered using the university’s 'block and blend' model. Core taught topics and assessed modules include:

  • Creating Digital Media (Requisite)
  • Digital Marketing and Artificial Intelligence

Teaching emphasises team projects where students produce events, livestreams and digital content to build a professional portfolio.

Entry requirements

Typical academic entry asks for 112 UCAS tariff points (for example BBC at A-level, DMM in BTEC, Merit in T Level or Pass in Access to HE Diploma). All applicants must hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or recognised Level 2 equivalents); applicants without these may be considered individually based on their full application.
