Entry requirements

Applicants must hold a secondary school certificate certified by the Bahraini Ministry of Education or an equivalent with a minimum grade of 60%. Candidates with grades below 60% may be considered if they are national-level athletes/artists, or have at least one year of relevant work experience; such admissions are subject to programme limits and university discretion. All applicants must pass an interview and an assessment test administered by the department. Every admitted student takes an English placement test; students scoring 0–40 are required to take ENG 099, while exemptions are available for sufficient IELTS/TOEFL scores as specified by the university.

Scholarships & funding angle (general)

The programme notes partial academic excellence scholarships available for the first semester only: 30% for high school averages 95–100% and 15% for averages 90–94.9%. Tuition is presented per credit hour and per semester: 92.7 BD per credit hour, with estimated semester fees of 1,390.5 BD and an annual total shown as 2,781 BD; summer-term registration is optional and billed at the same per-credit rate, with a maximum of 9 credit hours.
