What you'll study

The curriculum combines theory and practice to build skills in assessment, care planning, medicines administration and safe clinical decision making within mental health contexts. Teaching methods include seminars, lectures, case studies, simulation using patient manikins in realistic scenarios, and online activities. Assessment includes authentic, practice‑linked tasks such as case presentations, medicines administration exercises and report writing. Students learn to work within multi‑disciplinary teams and shared learning sessions with adult and children’s nursing peers are embedded.
