Local GCE A/L candidates need a minimum of three "S" passes in the Physical Sciences or Engineering Technology streams in one sitting, or three "S" passes in any other stream plus a C pass in O/L Mathematics and completion of the SLIIT IT Bridging Programme. Applicants with Information & Communication Technology as an A/L subject and a C in O/L Mathematics are exempt from the bridging programme. Cambridge/Edexcel A/L applicants require three "D" passes in mathematics-related subjects, or three "D" passes in other subjects combined with a C in O/L Mathematics and completion of the bridging programme (exemptions apply for IT/Computer Science A/L with C in O/L Mathematics). To follow the Cyber Security specialisation students must meet the faculty's minimum GPA at the end of Year 2 Semester 1. All applicants must pass the SLIIT aptitude test.
